HotUKDeals Of The Day - Wednesday 28th April

28 April 2010

hukd_logob1 No time for introductory bollocks – all these and more courtesy of HotUKDeals, blah blah, etc etc…

First off, a couple of retro T-shirts, celebrating icons of yesteryear – and yours for only £2.99 apiece. There’s one that features top murderous shark Jaws and another that is covered in space invaders. Terrific.

666317Other classic cult figures from the bygone era include newsreader Sandy Gall, the MiniPops, Bernie from Weekend at Bernies and Daphne from Neighbours. Sadly, none of these appear on T-shirts in the special offer. Oh, and the couple from the Gold Blend adverts.

666409Next comes some more garden furniture. Helpfully at the moment, whenever the sun breaks through the clouds and blesses us with a modicum of real actual warmth, some company somewhere immediately knock down the price of their garden furniture and we all fall for it, like the suckers we truly are.

Today, we’re pointing you in the direction of a six-piece Textaline set – four chairs, a table and a fully-operational gun turret, all for just £43.94 delivered. Actually, we’ve checked the small print and it’s a parasol and not a gun turret as we first assumed. Apologies.

666394Finally, a voucher that will get you £5.00 knocked off your shopping bill when you spend over £30.00. The voucher can be used at Lidl and the HotUKDeals member who unearthed the bargain believes they can be used in Tesco too.

He/she is called ‘hotscot’, so if you get any aggro when you try and use your voucher in Tesco, just tell them “You have to take my voucher – hotscot said you would” and it should be fine. If not, we’re sure that ‘hotscot’ will refund you your £5.00 along with an extra tenner for your trouble.

(deals found by HUKD members pmackers, BigGibowski, goonertillidie and hotscot)
