HotUKDeals Of The Day - Tuesday 4th January

4 January 2011

hukd_logob1Time to round off the day with our regular look at the best bargains that have been acquiring heat over at HotUKDeals throughout the day. Amazing scenes!

843531_1Let’s get this ‘party’ ‘started’ with a couple of low-price, high-quality compurter games. Sorry, it’s ‘computer games’ isn’t it? We’re always doing that.

Anyways, first of all, we’ve got Fallout: New Vegas on the PS3 for just £13.99 delivered, and then there’s FIFA 11 on the Xbox 360 or the PS3 for only £17.99, also delivered. Plus there’s possible cashback available. As ever, don’t play them too late at night or when you’ve been eating cheese.

843488_1Next comes the chance for you to liven up your dull, stay-at-home life, put on some clean undercrackers, get out of the house with your significant other and plough some fairly reasonable food down your throat-holes.

It’s a ‘2 Meals For £5’ offer at selected pubs up and down the country, and it runs throughout the whole of January. It’s not the kind of stuff that Gordon Ramsey would dish up in his restaurants but to be honest, he’s a bit of a twat isn’t he?

843356_1Finally, a cultural injection. A book no less, and one for all non-illiterate fans of the sequel to the hit film Star Wars. Decipher that cunning clue and you’ll know that we’re speaking of The Empire Strikes Back.

It’s a posh book all about the making of that film – it normally retails for about £40.00, which surely makes it the most expensive book ever published. But right now you can get it for only £10.00, which probably makes it about the ninth or tenth most expensive book ever published.

Ordered an iHome wake, sleep and charge for my husband for Christmas. Unfortunately it didn't have a radio. I contacted then and asked for a refund. Never answered numerous emails and telephone messages. When I realised they used the 7 day internet distance selling policy, not 28 as most decent retailers do! I tried appealing to their better nature and asked for a product exchange instead. You've guessed! not a peep out of them. I am now left with a £52.99 item and no present for my husband:-( I have never dealt with any company like them and I use the internet alot due to disability problems. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE
