HotUKDeals Of The Day - Thursday 16th April

Here’s the rich pickings from the bountiful tree of bargains over at HotUKDeals, all freshly harvested over the past 24 hours.

Something for everyone here today – unless you despise rubbery cheese, kitten-soft towelling products and saving money when making phone calls. In which case, we don’t want to know you. Damn your eyes sir/madam.

Here’s a riddle - what do you call a food that doesn’t look like food, feel like food, smell of anything and that tastes more like softened rubber? Why it’s a Cheesestring of course! Never mind, kids love ‘em.

These diabolical objects normally cost far more than they’ve got any real right to but at the moment you can get a packet of 8 for just £1 – available in equally-vile normal, twisted or light variety. Ugh.

If you’re looking for the big bosses of the online towel-selling game, you need look no further than Christy. Right now they’ve got 70% off their Sorrento towel range with prices starting at just £1.05 per item.

They’re a luxurious 600gsm, 100% Egyptian cotton towel featuring a sophisticated ribbed band and are recognised by the International Kitten Society as being soft enough to cradle little baby cats in. Aaahhh….

Lastly, HUKDer Ibiza has posted a method which will allow you to call 0800, 0808 & 0500 from your mobile without incurring massive charges, as well as getting you free calls to directory enquiries.

You can find out how to use this nifty cash-saving loophole over at HUKD but read carefully through the thread before you do as some mobile providers may notice what you’re up to and bill you accordingly.

Hmm, the 0800 thing is highly dubious, I've used it and 50% of the time it tells me the number doesn't exist or gets confused when I try to navigate the keypad system of the company I'm trying to call or it simply cuts me off.
