HotUKDeals Of The Day - Monday 27th July

27 July 2009

Here’s your daily dose of the smartest bargains around, all courtesy of the hard-working sorts at HotUKDeals.

There’s something for everyone – or at least there is if you’re into granite-tough hero films, strange-tasting fizzy drinks and cheap tellies.

There’s a triple-whammy of great DVD box sets that have just popped up on HotUKDeals. You should be clawing for your wallets now as you aim to snap them up before they’re gone. First is the 21-disc Laurel and Hardy box for just £32.99.

If you want something a bit more macho, there’s a Clint Eastwood set (For A Few Dollars More/The Good, The Bad And The Ugly/A Fistful Of Dollars/Hang 'Em High) for just £6.97 and a Steve McQueen set (The Great Escape / The Magnificent Seven / The Thomas Crown Affair / The Sand Pebbles) for only £5.97. Rarrrgggh!

Staying on a macho theme, how long do you think it would take you to down 24 cans of Irn Bru? You know, the infamous fizzy drink that’s made in Scotland, from girders?

A day? A week and a half? A year? Now you can find out at the cost of only a fiver. Just don’t come crying to us when the sudden infusion of liquid iron into your system gives you a brain haemorrhage though.

If you need something brand new to watch your tough guy DVDs on while you’re drinking your tough guy fizzy drinks, here’s a TV deal that’s packing more heat than Clint in one of his Westerns.

It’s the Toshiba Regza 32AV615DB 32-inch widescreen HD-ready LCD TV with Freeview – and it’s only £289.99. Sell one of your Irn Bru-riddled kidneys to medical science and you should comfortably cover the cost of the whole kaboodle.

IRN-BU's a bit like Marmite, you either love it or hate it. If you hate it, you're a twat. Now go get yourself a waking hours worth of the shit jimmy! Oke aye!

Irn Bru is nothing like Marmite. Marmite is a yeast extract. Irn bru isn't.
