HotUKDeals Of The Day - Monday 18th January

18 January 2010

hukd_logob1 Today, the nads of the bargain barometer are pointing at the bits where console games, Blu-ray films and battery testers reside, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Nads? Sorry, hands.

The big daft bunch of nads at HotUKDeals found the bargains for us. So we probably shouldn’t call them nads should we?

Nads.

586059You might have already voted in our Best Company in Britain 2009 poll but were you wondering what was recently voted ‘Best Game Whose Title Contained The Name Of A Tool As Well As The Sound Made When Said Tool Is Struck Firmly Against A Metal Pipe’? Of course you were.

That prestigious, if somewhat niche award went to ‘Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time’ on the PS3, following a non-existent joust with some made-up competition. But the headbangers at Dealspwn tell us that it is a great game and that with a RRP of £49.99, the bargain price of just £17.95 would probably be worth a punt. So do it.

586000People, we have seen into the future. A future that we think is only about a year or so away. It is a future where a Blu-ray of the Batman movie The Dark Knight is available to buy for only £6.95. Yes, no, really.

Amazingly, that scarcely-believable price is actually here and in the present moment right now, as opposed to lurking about twelve months into the futurkalendar. Other news from early 2011 – the Cameron government’s solution to everything bad is to make all of the the poor wear beards of bees.

585800How many of you are kept awake at night wondering just how much ‘doing juice’ is left in the batteries that power your various appliances? Mmm… (does head count)… all of you then.

You’ll probably live longer and better with one of these then – it’s a battery tester that is reduced from £15.98 to just £1.99 delivered AND there’s a buy one get one free offer on with them so that you can log your doing juice levels on two different batteries at once. We think you’ll agree that it’s an enormous boon… and we’re always on the look out for enormous boons.

7dayshop sold these for 99 pence each for years. They double the price to £1.99 and give you one for " free " ..... clever marketing or what?
