Deals Of The Day - Thursday 25th April

apple logo It’s not often that we can get a discount on the latest technological marvels of wonderment from Apple, but instead, here’s a way that you can spread the payments as opposed to taking a bit hit at the same time that you take your goodies home.

If you’ve got a Barclaycard, you can treat yourself to a new iPad, iPhone, iPod or whatever tickles your fancy, as long as it’s over £429.00 in price. Then simply pay with your Barclaycard and it’ll be added to your bill at 0% interest over the next 12 months. Of course there’s some pesky terms and conditions to be considered, but we generally ignore them, choosing instead to tick the box that says ‘yes, give us our lovely, shiny new stuff please!’ Ignorance, dear reader, is bliss…

• X-Men: The Last Stand (Blu-ray) – only £2.91.

If one item on your bill is at 0% how does that rank if you pay minimum payment ? Conversely if you pay your bills in full how the first month net of the cost of the item than it gets added back after 12 months for calculation purposes? Or could you just not be bothered to do more than reprint the press release? Do you understand was consumer journalism is or do you simply no longer give a stuff?
