Deals O' The Evening - Wednesday 21st January

Evening all; Deal Of The Day’s twilight cousin Deals O’ The Evening here with some great offers gleaned from the labyrinth of bargains that is HotUKDeals

Top deal as far as we’re concerned is the Lack table from Ikea – a staple in the household of those on the tightest of budgets and now available at only £3.99.

Its dimensions are: length: 55 cm, width: 55 cm, height: 45 cm. Colours available are Red, White, Birch Effect, Black, Black-Brown, Green, Light Pink and Oak Effect. If none of that makes you happy then we really don’t know what we’re going to do with you.

Once you’ve got your table (albeit still in its flat pack), here are three things you can do with it.

1: ASSEMBLE IT – use this 750w hammer drill; available for only £9.99. We’re no experts in the murky world of DIY, but we assume this thing has got a ‘table assembly’ setting. It must at least have a ‘table destruction’ setting though mustn’t it?

2: EAT YOUR DINNER OFF IT – following on from the Chinese New Year deals at Morrisons that we highlighted yesterday, there’s some similar Oriental-flavoured bargainry going on at Asda. Go here for the skinny on how to get fatter on the cheap.

3: PLAY ACTION OBAMA INAUGURATION ON IT – Now that he’s come from outer space to save the world, you can recreate yesterday’s big speech by Big Barack on your Lack table. The collectable Action Obama figure (just £8.54) will make a great Obama, and you can scatter the contents of a few large packets of raisins on the floor as the crowd. That isn’t meant to be racist – it’s just that raisins were the cheapest small things we could think of that might represent thousands of people. M’kay?
