Should all supermarket trolleys have a dog section?
If there's one thing the internet has taught us, is that people turn into gooey messes at the mere hint of dog. People really love pooches, especially when they're quite small, and rather inbred.
Either way, seeing a dog tied up outside a shop isn't great, so one supermarket has hit on something - a trolley which has a place for your dog to sit!
Have a butchers at this.
This Italian grocery store is called Unes, and owner Gianfranco Galantini, decided to make his shop friendly to our canine pals (and their owners who are likely to spend more money with him now).
Basically, these trolleys have a section at the front where dogs can sit, and it has a solid bottom, so if there's any accidents, it won't go all over the Corn Flakes.
"The owners of small dogs can now avoid having to leave them outside, giving them peace of mind to take all the time they need to make their purchases," said Gianfranco to La Repubblica. "The initiative launched just recently, but we’ve already noticed how much our customers appreciate it."
Should all supermarkets have trolleys like this? Everyone likes seeing dogs knocking about and, of course, it'll be really funny for people who don't have dogs, to see people yelling uselessly at a pair of hounds scrapping in the Bonio aisle. It'll really liven up the grocery shop, no end.
