Ice cream shop wants to deter customers
So, they've whacked their prices up because they're just too busy.
Owner Niko Robert has been inundated with trade at Hokey Pokey and has seen queues of up to 50 metres outside the shop. He's worried that his shop will be closed down if he doesn't do something about it.
The price of his ice cream has risen from around a quid, to £1.35 per scoop, and Niko told a local paper that his main priority is to reduce business to an acceptable level.
He said: "The aim is not to make as much money as possible here."
This story has made it to most newsrooms around the world, and with free publicity like that, it'll only serve to get Niko even more customers. Complete with price-hike, he'll be laughing all the way to the bank.
