Starbucks yell "diabetes here I come"

13 April 2016

It is one thing having your name spelled badly on your Starbucks order, but it is another entirely when someone gives you your order, and it says "diabetes here I come" on it.

This happened in St. Augustine, Florida, who seemed to be getting served of the most sarcastic barista in the universe.

While a lot of customers may have laughed at this, this particular person wasn't in the mood, stating that two of his sisters were actually living with diabetes. Feel free to assume that they'd got it from too many sweet coffees.

Here's the cup in question.

Starbucks put out a statement: "Starbucks strives to provide an inclusive and positive experience for our customers, and were disappointed to learn of this incident. We are working directly with the customer to apologize for his experience, and with our partners (employees) to ensure this does not happen again."

Now, if you're wondering about the order - it is a grand white chocolate mocha, which according to the Starbucks website, comes with 12 grams of saturated fat and 59 grams of sugar. It all depends on what type of milk you get in it, but c'mon, a white chocolate drink isn't ever going to be great for you.

Either way, we've got a customer who didn't find this funny, just like the person who wasn't impressed when Domino's called him a 'bell end'.

That's a starbucks mobile ordering sticker. You pick your own name in the app. What a load of bollocks.
