Vodafone bill errors cause complaints

Vodafone have seen a spike in complaints, regarding poor customer service and issues with billing services.

So what's been going down? Well, Vodafone have switched their customer service and billing platforms over to a new system, which has been causing no end of trouble.

Some figures show that their complaints have tripled in the last few weeks.

One common problem, is that some people have seen payments being taken after they've cancelled their contracts, while others have been charged more than once for services.

There's also been problems with direct debits, which have been set up incorrectly by staff, and customers being put on the wrong tariff.

If you're a Vodafone customer, it is well worth checking your bill to make sure no mistakes have been made with you. It is also worth looking at your data allowance, to ensure you're getting what you've paid for.

Of course, if you've been overcharged, you need to get in touch with Vodafone, who should reimburse what you've paid, as well as any costs you've incurred as a result of their errors.

Make sure you've got your information about costs and charges to hand when dealing with them.

Vodafone have said that they're working on sorting this mess out, and from what we can glean, it looks like they're not messing about. They've hired over 600 customer service staff in a bid to get everything running smoothly.

However, you still ought to check your situation and contact them.
