Boxing Day 2015: let the sales begin!

Father Christmas The Boxing Day sales - the UK's original Black Friday - are nearly upon us. Of course, most people will be having a packet of Rennie in one go and piddling around with their new gifts, but for the bargain hunter, Boxing Day is a winner.

A lot of shops will be taking part, and to be honest, the best thing to do is go down the high street and pop your head in all the shops. However, there's going to be an amped-up internet presence with the sales this year, in case you fancy hawking some goods while farting away on the couch.

So, for ease of browsing, who is taking part?

As ever, Argos and Amazon will be getting involves. Argos sales start at 7pm on Christmas Eve. Amazon's sales started last Monday and run through 'til New Year's Eve. Curry's kick their sales off at midnight on Christmas Day.

If you're looking to travel, then British Airways are having a Xmas sale, and EasyJet are having 20% off a bunch of flights, and money off holidays.

For clothes, River Island kick in-store sales off from Boxing Day, and the online sale is go, now! Topshop sales start midnight Christmas Day, while ASOS are having an online sale, as are Very. The folks over at New Look are having a sale in stores and online.

Department stores are getting in on the action too, with Debenhams kicking things off in stores and online, starting midnight Christmas Eve. John Lewis are joining in too, as are Marks & Spencer, and of course, the House of Fraser who started theirs already, online.

The supermarkets are getting some Christmas sale action in too, which will vary from store-to-store, so best to get down (and check their websites too).
