5 Days to Christmas: Potholes Tax Disc Holder £2.99 Delivered
In a few hours, we're approaching 5 days until Christmas, and counting. If you are running out of ideas of what to get as a stocking filler at this last minute, HUKDer anewman found a great one: this brilliant £2.99 Self Cling Vinyl sticker, telling the officials checking your tax discs to "go fix some f****** potholes". And if you order it soon, it may arrive just in time for the big day.
It's generated over 1k degrees over at HUKD, but with somewhat mixed reviews. A few of your comments include:
sam_41: "It's a bit ironic that the tax disc in the pic is /o/ut of date!... if you get pulled over this is gonna seriously p*ss the police off, they'll be looking for an excuse to book you."
charlok: "Love it......after having to fork out over £500 yesterday because my car hit a pothole this is a very topical item for me!!! I am livid at the government for not maintaining the roads as they should!! Grrrr"
Dhope: "Cold because there are cheaper ways to look like a cock."
Mildlytight: "Fully agree with the sentiment but how are the "nosey b******s" supposed to catch tax dodgers without looking at tax discs??? Just a thought "
veedubjai: "I suggest you lodge a claim against the local authorities for not maintaining the road but you must provide evidence to them that the pot hole did cause considerable damage with copies of the annual car service & MOT to prove that your car was kept at roadworthy condition. Get the mechanics report to confirm whether the damage to the vehicle is cause by the pot hole on the road. Hey, even get the car manufacturer to confirm any details of life expectancy of the suspension on the car vehicle for claim. Could give it a try & see if the local council would cave in."
crispwarez: "i can imagine the police giving your car a thorough work over to find a fault if you have 1 of these"
But if it's legal, why not? Not only would this be an amusing stocking filler for christmas, but your family, friends and children may serve as guinea pigs before your alter ego steps up as the daredevil that you really are. We'd love to know how it goes for you anyway.
