Tesco Direct to make broadband child's play

21 July 2010

Ah, the broadband router, the mystery of the modern world - your refusal to network with computers in the same room is legendary. Sitting there on the bookshelf, scowling at anyone who dares question your operational status: "Three green lights? Sir, have two green lights and an orange light, and be grateful for it, you rapscallion!"

Step forward Tesco Direct, who feel our pain and want a world full of routers so simple that even our kids can understand them, as demonstrated on their website:

Bitterwallet - Tesco broadband router is child's play

Thanks to avid Bitterwallet reader Michael for his eagle-eyed spot.

Ah, this is clearly a mistake, I think what has happened is someone has accidently linked the description to a childrens stacking ring toy. Michael is clearly very eagle eyed, but has he not got better things to do...
  • Michael
Nope...no better things to do! The same goes for you by the looks of it!

Very good - it seems that even the mighty Tesco Direct get things wrong (no surprise there.) Although installation should be child's play, many adults are unable to successfully install broadband without outside help.
