THE DEAL: BeUnlimited Broadband – with your first 6 months free, then only £13.50 a month. No connection fee.
TRUE OR FALSE? Bitterwallet editor Andy Dawson subscribes to Be Unlimited’s broadband service. As part of his sign-up package, they emailed him a special URL which allows him to access certain high-quality clown porn sites that are not freely available to normal internet users.
THE DEAL: Shameless – the first five series in one heft 16-disc DVD box set. RRP £69.99 – yours for just £17.98 if you follow this link for more info.
TRUE OR FALSE? In the original pilot episode of Shameless, the part of Frank Gallagher was played by Ronnie Corbett. However, the producers felt that Corbett wasn’t quite right for the role as he refused to speak any of the foul language that peppered the script. He carried his own personal beeper which he used to sound every time a profanity was supposed to be uttered.
THE DEAL: Easter Eggs with a mug for only £1.00. They’re in store at a certain bargain-happy supermarket. Click here to find out where. Eggs available include High School Musical, After Eights, and Yorkie.
TRUE OR FALSE? After Eights got their name as in the initial recipe, in 1875, they contained harmful levels of mercury. Studies proved that once you had eaten eight of them you would die. On the box was a picture of a freshly-dug grave with a man being lowered into it – in a giant After Eights box of course!
