lovefilm 300x168 Wii and LoveFilm team upIf you have a Nintendo Wii and a LoveFilm account, you’ll now be able to access a free app from the Amazon-owned streaming service. And, if you’ve already got a Wii U, then you’ll soon be able to get your eyes round a HD version soon.

Wii’s have already got Netflix, which has run on the console for a while now, but this new exclusive deal should put an end to that.

What’s good about streaming on Wii U is that you can watch HD content on your television, but also, you can view films on the wireless handheld controller.

Of course, the LoveFilm app is free, but you’ll need to be spending at least £5 per month for a subscription to the service.

Only 2 months late is a selling point! Not sure Netflix have anything recent at all…

@ darren if you have time to be sitting round watching all the latest movies then you must be either unemployed or a bum. i struggle to watch some releases from one year in addition can’t remember when I last watched TV too, and I have sky etc.
