What is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is way to get updates from your favourite site or blog pushed to your desktop. This means you will be notified of new posts without having to visit the site and check manually. You can read the updates in a website client (like Google Reader or Netvibes), a desktop client (NetNewsWire, FeedDemon), in your browser or email (Safari, Firefox, Mail.app) or even on your mobile phone.
