Ten of the best from Bitterwallet’s week that was…
By Andy Dawson
What a week it’s been here a Bitterwallet. As we solicit your nominations for Worst Company Of 2009, some of the big names seem to have been jostling for position in an attempt to earn your revulsion.
- Supreme Master TV – just when you thought there was nothing worth watching on the telly.
- A bit of overtime on the cards after some slipshod forklift steering brings an entire warehouse down.
- Once again, we urge you to tell us… who is Britain’s Worst Company of 2009?
- We’ve started a vicious rumour that Amazon bozz Jeff Bezos is dead. It’s more interesting than his new frustration-free packaging.
- Barclaycard have been bandying customers’ personal information about. It’s almost like they’re complete idiots who haven’t got a frigging clue what they’re doing or what laws they’re breaking.
- You too could work for Google if you’re happy to have your mind fried during the application process.
- The iPhone on Orange – a golden chance to grab a share of the smartphone market that has been pissed down the tubes like a bad yoghurt.
- Not like good old T-Mobile – they’ve been sending THEIR customers unsolicited pornographic images (above right).
- Finally, you can download The Beatles’ back catalogue! Wait, no you can’t – you can actually download ‘psycho-acoustic simulations of it. Wait, no you can’t – EMI have sent out the legal attack dogs.
- Our final moronic company of the week are Play.com – dispatching hundreds of emails containing random customers’ personal details. Phew!
