Are you a frustrated rock star who is heavily influenced by 20-year-old superhero movies and enjoys the spicy taste of some Caribbean sauce on your toast in the mornings? You are? Then you’re our target victim/reader (delete as appropriate) today.
Today’s bargains all come from HotUKDeals. One day, we’ll trick you and say they’ve all come from the RSPCA’s website. Maybe.
Ever fancied being a real-life guitar hero like Jimi Hendrix-Experience, Eric Claption-Junction or Johnny Andrew-Marr? You probably think you’ll need a small fortune for equipment in order to get you started – but that isn’t the case at all.
For only £39.99 (normally £99.99) you can get an Elevation electric guitar starter pack, comprising of a guitar, a 10w amp, lead, strings, carry case and amplifier. It’s normally £99.99 and in exchange for this information, you are legally bound to give Bitterwallet 40% of any of your future guitar-related earnings. Cheers.
Speaking of musicians who have gone from rags to riches, we turn our attentions to Levi Roots. He’s the man who grew tired of failing to hit the big time and vented his rage by creating a sauce instead. That sauce went by the name of Reggae Reggae, and the rest is history.
You can get it as part of a buy-one-get-one-free offer at the moment, with just £1.34 getting you a couple of bottles of the stuff. Proof if proof be need be that next time you feel the world has got it in for you, you shouldn’t go on a firearm rampage but should knock up a batch of spicy sauce instead.
Finally, an enormous boon if you’ve got a modern telly and would like to revisit the Batman movies from the 1990s and view them in the internationally-recognised Blu-ray format. And as you know, we’re always on the look out for enormous boons around here.
We’ve got the Batman QUADRILOGY on Blu-ray, comprising of Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever and Batman And Robin. You can get the lot for £9.99 delivered. A great big Bat-bastard bargain if ever we clapped eyes on one.

People, if you want to spend your evenings creating counterfeit toys for kids while smoking crack, be sure you take a moment to check over your work the next morning. Crack often robs you of your train of thought:
Much kudos to HotUKDeals who as ever have captured the bargains before beating them to a pulp with a metal bat. Or something.
Let’s start today’s round-up the same way we start every day – with a good hard scratch of the arse. Sorry, that isn’t right. We meant with breakfast. Breakfast, the meal that’s fit for a king but enjoyed most by the unemployable.
This deal should shake both kings and the unemployable out of their lazy torpor and get their mojo going. It’s a breakfast, with drink for only 99p, but the hard part is that they’ll have to leave the house to get the mouths on it. Ouch!
It’s an old-school joystick (the Competition Pro – some of you will be creaming yourselves just from reading the name) that plugs into your USB hole, and a disc for your PC with 99 Commodore 64 games on it, including classics like Bomb Jack, Ghosts N Goblins, Defender Of The Crown, Turrican and many many more. Wahoo! Pre-order now for only £9.99.
Finally, we return to the modern age and bring you a Blu-ray triple disc sensation of an offer. It contains both Batman Begins and The Dark Knight along with a bonus disc, all for the low and lovely price of just £12.99 delivered.
We’re not sure what’s on the third disc but we think it might be some preview scenes from the forthcoming Butlins Batman: The Red Cape Of Round-The-Clock Entertainment. We’ve heard good things about it – it reunites most of the creative forces behind Hi-De-Hi…

Here’s a set of new ads for the US financial network Lending Tree. They cast ordinary citizens as potential superheroes in the fight against financial misdoings by others.
It’s a flimsy concept, but the ads are elevated to the level of near-genius by some gloriously blustery voiceover work by Adam West (the 1960s TV Batman of course.)
You can almost see 80 year-old West’s over-the-top acting in your mind’s eye as his magnificent verbal billowing takes the English language on a rollercoaster ride. It’s even better if you imagine him doing it as Batman.
Burt Ward is 64 today. Better known of course as Robin in the 1960s TV version of Batman, it’s hard to imagine Ward still prancing around in the Boy Wonder’s tights at his age. Although if you’ve read any of his lurid autobiography, the image of a 64 year-old bloke in tights would be a veritable picnic in comparison to some of the stuff he got up to off-screen.
Commemorate Burt’s birthday by grabbing a DVD copy of the 2003 film ‘Return To The Batcave’ where Ward and co-star Adam West have to track down the stolen Batmobile. It’ll cost you just one pound. Maybe what you’d really like to see is the Dynamic Duo appearing with Batgirl in a 1966 public service announcement about gender-equal pay. Okay then, here you go…
If you’re impoverished and living in Sheffield and you see Batman coming towards you at pace, hold out your hand because he’s probably got something for you – and it’s not a Robin outfit.
A mystery businessman is dressing up as the Caped Crusader and helping out at soup kitchens and charity shops in the city – and has made donations totalling £10,000.
He is believed to be a local entrepreneur, but stays in character at all times, even speaking in an American accent, telling the Daily Express, “I don’t care if some people think I’m bonkers. If I inspire others to give their time and money to good causes this Christmas, it’s been worth it.
“My message is that you don’t need to be a superhero, or super wealthy, to give to deserving causes. If you can give cash, or toys, that’s fantastic. The most precious gift of all is your time.”
We disagree – it’s obviously truffles, but we’re not going to quibble in the face of such humanitarian goodness.
Here’s the latest odds on the Sheffield Batman’s true identity…
2/1 – Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys)
4/1 – Sean Bean
8/1 – Jarvis Cocker
12/1 – Duncan Bannatyne
20/1 – Jamie Oliver
25/1 – Adam West
