Sarah Palin Cabbage Patch Doll Fetches £12k in Auction

Governor Sarah Palin may have lost her bid to become the new American Republican VP, but she did win one event this week: a Cabbage Patch Doll lookalike on internet auction giant eBay.

The doll was bought for $19,000 (£12,000) in a charity auction, beating out similar dolls made of the other candidates.

As such, she shall forever remain a Maverick in the hearts of the American people, the Joe Six Pack way.
