If only all police were as polite as those up in the Northumberland, we would all save alot on parking tickets.

The town of Cramlington is handing out “reminders” in place of tickets. The unique solution is targeted specifically at offenders who park illegally around school grounds. These “polite” warnings urge drivers to park properly, or receive a £30 fixed penalty ticket if they continue to disregard parking regulations.

What’s the point of all this? Police are hoping that this will deal with parents who park illegally while dropping off students at the schools.  Somehow, I am doubtful this is going to work.
