Princess Bride t-shirt causes losers to get jumpy on a planeJanuary 25th, 2013 • 6 Comments
Have you seen The Princess Bride? Of course you have. Everyone has either willingly watched it, or been forced to watch it by some sap. Well, one of the most famous lines from the film caused a security scare on a Qantas flight this week.
Wynand Mullins was wearing a t-shirt that featured the quote: “My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.” Most passengers knew the line or assumed that t-shirts weren’t the most dangerous thing in the world, however, some didn’t know what was going on and told cabin crew that they felt threatened by the message.
The outgareous idiots.
“The flight attendant said to me, ‘Are you able to remove it because some of the passengers are quite intimidated by it’,” said Mullins. “I thought it was all a bit silly. The person next to me was laughing, because they knew the movie. The whole experience was a bit over the top, but also a bit comical.”
A Qantas spokesman said of this most pointless quibble: “Qantas does have dress standards for passengers travelling on our aircraft… particularly for slogans which other passengers may find offensive or threatening.”
Take all the warning labels off stuff and let these pathetic whining idiots dispose of themselves.
The gene pool definitely needs some chlorine
I’m with jokester on this one….
we’re stopping evolution from doing it’s thing…. there are some exceptionally thick people, incapable of even the most basic of tasks out there… and they’re breeding…
I’d have said to the flight attendant… please give me a blanket… I’ll punch a hole in it… and any time I stand up to walk around I’ll use it as a poncho … otherwise please can you announce over the p.a that I feel uncomfortable with the fact I’m being read and request all passengers to stop reading me.
