100 kilos of cocaine found in bananas
Supermarket staff got more than they bargained for when they discovered a stash of cocaine in a banana delivery. 100 kilos of coke was found in the Danish supermarket Coop after the shipment came from Colombia.
Jens Juul Nielsen, a spokesman for Coop supermarkets, said that 80 kilos of cocaine had already been found the week before in Aarhus.
He said: "Like last week we have alerted our supplier in Colombia on this matter. He was a bit perplexed about how this could have happened and he is working on tightening controls."
The banana dealer is probably going to be buried alive and whipped with bike chains.
The spokesperson appeared on television, reassuring customers that was no danger when buying the bananas, as both the fruit and the cocaine were "very well wrapped".
Everyone in Denmark is now sulking.
