Ladies and Gents: The first 1TB USB stick!
January 10th, 2013 • 3 Comments
While this is a rather dull looking thing, this story is a fine, fine development in technology. Basically, what we have here is the first 1TB USB 3.0 flash drive.
That’s a LOT of room.
The tediously monikered DataTraveler HyperX Predator 3.0, can read/write speeds of 240MB/s and 160MB/s, and will hit the market in the next few months.
There’s already a 512GB version available, which is selling for an eye-watering $1,750, so christ knows how much the 1TB version will be flogged for.
Still, for something so small that has over a thousand GB, you can’t really expect it to be bargain bin prices, just yet.

“HyperX Predator”

@james
No it doesn’t – it’s probably just a guilty conscience of your part….
