Ofcom publish another complaints list
Ofcom, who just love complaining about complaining, have published their latest list of moans about telecoms companies.
Apparently, complaints are much lower for pay TV and PAYG mobile services than for broadband, landline and pay monthly mobile services.
In the world of landlines, TalkTalk found themselves being complained about most (AGAIN). Even though they remained well above the industry average, remarkably, their complaints are falling. Virgin Media and Sky jointly achieved the fewest complaints.
In broadband, Orange were most complained about with a huge spike of gripes in September, which is probably something to do with the fact that Orange withdrew its free broadband offer at that time. TalkTalk was the second most complained about broadband provider, and BT also saw a rise.
In the pay-monthly mobile universe, T-Mobile were most irritating to customers, with Three, Orange and Vodafone all generated complaints in excess of the industry average. No-one is really complaining about PAYG mobiles, but Ofcom have promised to keep an eye on things.
For subscription TV, Ofcom received the most complaints about BT Vision, with concerns six-times greater than the industry average. Again, Sky had the lowest number of complaints.
