Commercial Break: Credit to Norton, he’s got credit for everyone
By Andy Dawson
Low-budget local ads are always good for a laugh and for some reason, American furniture stores are among the best, for no other reason than they all seem to be owned by the batshit mental. Here’s Marc Norton then. He’s got a furniture store, a LOT of credit to dish out and a man in a frog suit perched atop some of his furniture. For why we do not know.
Flushed with the success of the first ad, Norton cobbled together a sequel, starring himself as God (obviously) along with Adam and an unfeasibly sexy Eve. Norton hasn’t bothered to tamper with a winning formula and delivers almost exactly the same script. We kind of miss the frog to be honest.
