Arriving next Saturday – the iPad, Hong Kong styleMarch 29th, 2010 • 3 Comments
Distribution of the iPad beyond the US won’t occur for several weeks yet, unless you happen to live in Hong Kong, where it’ll be available from this Saturday – the same date as the US release. Of course, the Hong Kong version has one or two minor improvements:
This genuine fake iPad is half the price of the US version, and comes with a free stylus too! President Xiong Yiwei of manufacturers Shenzhen Huayi said: “After developing modules, we basically made the designs to look like a jumbo iPhone. The success of iPhonish product is a matter of life or death for us.”
‘iPhonish product’. Balls the size of Belgium, that lad.
And the stylus is approx 2/3rds the size of the iPad as well.
I love Apple. They are AMAZING.
Ooooh, does it crash every time you try to sync it taking all of your contacts with it? Does it fall over randomly when you’re web surfing? Does it fail to answer phone calls by simply refusing to move the “answer call” slider across the screen no matter how many times you try? If so, then hurrah you have indeed created an “iPhonish product”.
