And your Best Company In Britain for 2012 is…

best company 2012 medal 291x300 And your Best Company In Britain for 2012 is...…John Lewis! Yes, the votes have been counted and the lovely, friendly department store chain has sneaked victory, pipping reigning champion Amazon to the post, to take the 2012-shaped crown.

We’ve got no doubt that Amazon would have triumphed again had they paid all of their UK tax in the UK itself, and their top brass are no doubt holding an emergency meeting today, with the loss of the Bitterwallet Best Company Of 2012 prize right at the top of the agenda. But sod all that – congratulations instead to John Lewis!

Here’s the final scores once again – thanks to all who voted….

Surprised that HUKD isn’t on here.

Oh silly me, they’re tax dodging fuckers with a lackadaisical attitude to data protection.

And BW delete all comments relating to this, but it’s not a cover-up, oh no.

    Utter fuckers.

Dont bring up HUKD – Andy Dawson will get upset and reveal your IP address and log in passwords……and possibly your mothers maiden name , which he doesn’t really have…… hasn’t lost…..and most certainly wouldn’t sell and claim them to have been misplaced.

    Hi badger,

Similarly, i had hoped that you had contracted bad aids and died from a ruptured colon. Still, there’s always hope, eh?!

There are oodles of companies that give tTotally rubbish Customer ‘Service’. John Lewis can run rings around most of them, beating others hands down, every time. JL *train* their staff and deserve every award and accolade they get. Other major retailers should take note (particularly Debenhams who don’t seem to understand the concept of CS in my experience).
