Commercial Break: the greatest Soviet ad compilation you'll see today

Please tell us that we’re not the only ones to be thrilled senseless by the idea of sitting through THIS, almost an hour of 1970s and 1980s commercials from the Soviet Union? Surely not.

It’s a dazzling line-up of slightly weird ads for everything from cars and sweets to accordions and slide projectors, all made by a government-approved agency. We’re watching it twice in a row tonight, instead of the Brits. With Babycham. And popcorn. Try it.
